3x parking control efficiency
We are leading technology provider in vehicle recognition (ANPR - automatic license plate recognition), our mobile camera has been developed with parking enforcement in mind. It is easily mounted on top of a moving vehicle (patrol car), and recognizes data of parked vehicles on the curbside, incuding their GPS cooridnates. This information is used to verify whether the car has a valid parking license. The system is designed to integrate with a dynamic database, which handles and logs payments and grants permissions.
Here's a brief overview of how the system is to be implemented:
1. Parking patrons pay online via a text, mobile app or a terminal. Modern terminals can be integrated with the system such that they issue tickets with the license plate and integrate with the city-wide database.
2. The patrol vehicle (scooter, bicycle or car), drives around the city and reads vehicle data, registering where each car is parked.
3. The patrol vehicle passes one more time after the grace period (usually 15 minutes later), and reads vehicle data, this time taking into account which vehicles have a valid parking ticket.
4. When a vehicle without a valid parking ticket is detected, a fine is issued to the vehicle's owner. This can be done in multiple ways:
a) An alert is sent to a central location, where fine is issued after a manual revision (this can be done when the local regulations don't require the fine to be issued physically). This is the fastest solution.
b) An alert is issued to a warden, who goes to the geolocation of the target vehicle and issues the fine physically. This solution is the most efficient one when the fine must be issued physically.
b) The patrol vehicle driver receives an alert and issues the fine. This solution works if there is a shortage of staff, but requires constant stop-and-go, which makes it less efficient.

The main benefit of the system is that it makes parking enforcement more efficient. It results in increased compliance.
A similar case from Budapest has proven to yield an over 300% efficiency increase despite reduced staff.
You can cover the same area with less staff and in a more efficient manner.
