HealthOrbit AI – Multilingual, Compliant Translation for Healthcare

HealthOrbit AI is the translation and communication platform built specifically for healthcare, ensuring safe, fast, and precise conversations between clinicians and non-German-speaking patients. Unlike generic translation apps, HealthOrbit AI is designed for the clinical environment, delivering medical-grade accuracy and the highest standards of data protection.

Our solution enables seamless two-way conversations: a clinician selects their language and the patient’s language, speaks naturally, and HealthOrbit AI instantly translates into the target language. The patient responds in their own language, which is immediately translated back for the clinician. This process is available at the bedside, during ward rounds, or in the emergency department—without delays or advance bookings.

Key features:

Medical-grade accuracy (99.7%) with validated clinical terminology.

65+ languages and 200+ dialects, including rare and regional variants.

Secure LAN-based mode ensures functionality even in Wi-Fi dead zones.

Device flexibility – works on existing hospital PCs, tablets, and secure mobile devices; no additional hardware is required.

Barrier-free design with voice activation for hygiene compliance and accessibility for elderly or motor-impaired patients.

Noise-cancelling technology for reliable use in busy wards and ERs.

OCR & documentation assistant that reads notes in German and generates structured reports, summaries, or translated patient information.

Compliance is at the heart of HealthOrbit AI. The platform is GDPR- and HIPAA-compliant, ISO 27001 certified, SOC 2 certified, and approved under Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. It is registered as Class I SaMD (UKCA) and validated under NHS DTAC, DSPT, and DCB0129. No patient data leaves the EU, ensuring full transparency and legal conformity.

By combining translation, documentation, and compliance in one intuitive platform, HealthOrbit AI reduces staff workload, enhances patient trust, and eliminates language barriers in one of Europe’s most diverse healthcare systems.

Added value

HealthOrbit AI delivers three core benefits:

1. Patient Safety & Trust
Language barriers are eliminated, ensuring patients understand their care, consent forms, and treatment instructions. Accurate translation of medical terminology prevents errors and builds confidence.

2. Efficiency for Staff
No advance bookings, no carrying special devices, and no dependency on Wi-Fi. Staff can use the system instantly across hospital PCs, tablets, and secure mobiles. The intuitive, voice-activated interface reduces training needs and lowers workload.

3. Compliance & Risk Reduction
HealthOrbit AI offers the strongest compliance framework in its class: HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, Cyber Essentials, NHS DTAC, DSPT, DCB0129, and UKCA Class I SaMD. With end-to-end encryption and no patient data stored outside the EU, it minimizes legal and operational risks.

4. More Than Translation
Beyond speech translation, HealthOrbit AI includes OCR and AI scribe functions to turn clinician notes into reports, summaries, and patient-friendly documents—further streamlining workflows.

Together, these features make HealthOrbit AI not just a translation app but a healthcare-grade communication platform, uniquely tailored to Vienna’s multicultural clinical environment.
